Shamanism is a remarkable path of self-development. Many people are seeking to find a spiritual path and are in need of soul food and soul healing. This complements the upsurge of interest in body therapies. The courses that Dragonfly Hearth offers will give you a wealth of knowledge to use and also inspire you to study further. It is time for us to rediscover our ancient healing ways of helping all who ask it of us, as well as connecting with our planet and learning ways to heal it.
A variety of day and weekend workshops are offered each year.
These include Vision Quest, Ancestral Wisdom and Women's Moon Wisdom.

Currently on a bi-annual basis, two small groups of students are invited to study in more depth; either a path of personal development or a path of service to others. A description of each course is below.

This course is a gentle introduction to the world of spirit and Shamanism. It offers you the opportunity to connect with the seasons and the elements and reflect on your relationship to them. You will practice the Shamanic journey to meet your spirit allies and connect with spirit through ceremony.
You will also make the tools of a shaman; rattle, smudge bowl, medicine bag, staff and shield. Over this year period you have the opportunity to reconnect to the strands that weave you to the web of life.
Shamanic Healing Arts

This course is for those of you who wish to work with spirit allies in healing others. You may wish to include this with other complementary therapies, or work solely in this way. This course will cover all aspects of Soul Retrieval and Integration. You will practice skills in Extraction Medicine and work with the healing tools of feathers, stones and crystals. You will also learn shamanic practices for your own personal development.
It is strongly recommended that you continue your studies with a Vision Quest and the Ancestral Wisdom. For students incorporating these three courses a special inclusive price will apply.

Venue
Yurt classroom inside & out
All courses are based in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Teaching will be conducted mainly in the Yurt that contains a wood burning stove. The setting is in my rustic garden with vegetable beds, a Labyrinth and fire pit. We are encircled by the natural environment that includes woods and rivers.
